President Droupadi Murmu will lead the celebrations in New Delhi, and this year, the country has invited

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to be the chief guest of the parade. The parade will start at 10:30 am and will include Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the National War Memorial,

unfurling the national flag, and playing the national anthem with a 21-gun  salute using 105-mm Indian Field Guns,  which replaces the traditional 25-pounder gun salute, highlighting India's growing self-reliance in defense.

Indian Republic Day was chosen for January 26 for what reason?

India's Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, but it was chosen to come into effect on January 26, 1950.

It is also noteworthy that on January 26, 1930, the "Poorna Swaraj" declaration was officially announced,

marking the start of the final phase of India's struggle for independence from British rule due to which we celebrate Republic day on 26th January.
